Current Members of the Groundwater Management Area 1

Conditions of Membership

Each confirmed District subject to Texas Water Code Chapter 36 located totally or partially within GMA-1 is eligible to participate on the GMA 1 Joint Planning Committee. A Member District’s Board President or the President’s designee shall be the JPC Member. The GMA 1 shall meet at least annually to conduct joint planning with the other districts in the Management Area and to review the management plans, as well as other requirements stated in Chapter 36 of Texas Water Code.
